LGS Home Builders was started by Larry G. Sauls in 1991. Larry brought with him over two decades of experience in home sales and project management. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, LGS Home Builders specializes in constructing high-quality modular homes for customers throughout the Piedmont Triad and beyond.

Larry has personally overseen the design and construction of over 1,500 homes since 1991.

About Our Owner

I have been associated with the factory built housing industry since 1972 where I entered the industry as sales coordinator for Redman homes in Lakeland, Florida. I had progressed through the sales ranks in Florida and Arizona and attained the position of Sales and Marketing Manager with Palm Harbor Homes overseeing product development for multiple manufacturing facilities in the state of Florida. While in that position I developed model centers in strategic locations on Florida’s east coast and southwest gulf coast with specific emphasis on Senior Housing aimed at the retirement market.

I entered the retail segment of the industry in 1986 while still in Florida. In 1987, I moved to North Carolina to head a large retail chain of sales centers located in both North Carolina and Florida. In 1991 I became sole proprietor of LGS Home Builders located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Through 2000, LGS Home Builders offered both manufactured and modular homes and have been building only modular homes since 2000. In 2010 we changed the name of the operating company to LGS Home Builders while maintaining the LGS Homes trade name.

I have had the total and final responsibility for selling and building over 1500 homes during the past 34 years. The mainstay of my business has been referrals, which has been built on delivering quality results for each and every customer. I bring a wealth of knowledge gained through successfully navigating the complex process of providing quality homes throughout the central North Carolina marketplace. I am adept at negotiating desirable terms with all my business associates and partners. This skill benefits my customers with lower building costs.
